As a young man, I remember being fascinated watching my uncle painstakingly bed a rifle and then work up the perfect load. Before long I caught the same bug for perfection, and it ultimately led to a machine shop where I could build my own gear.

Why a sword?
My family descends from Symon Ogbourne, a lieutenant in King Charles' army who came to America in 1652. Symon so valued his rapier that he specified in his will that his son Nicholas receive the sword. It's only fitting that the rapier continue to be our symbol.
